MOHAMED ABDULLA

Iraq/Netherlands

Mohamed Abdulla was born in Iraq in 1965. He lives and works in the Netherlands. Abdulla graduated in sculpture from The Academy of Fine Arts, Baghdad in 1990, in Fashion Design from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam in 1999 and Jan Van Eyck Academy, (post academic institute), Fine Art, Maastricht in 2002.

His work has been exhibited in various solo and group exhibitions internationally including: he left a stream of object in his wake, Goyang art studio, Korea, 2006; Hot Art, Cold Cash, Cologne Fine Art, Cologne, Germany, 2006; Skulptur-Biennale Munsterland - Kreis Borken, Germany 2005; BREMER FÖRDERPREIS FÜR BILDENDE KUNST, Städtische Galerie, Bremen, Germany, 2005; Berliner Kunstsalon, Berlin, Germany, 2004; How to make an exhibition for people who won't come?
