'The 5th Pound' is about a guy who is in the habit of taking the air-conditioned bus on Fridays accompanied by a girl because they can't find another place to make love in.

The film tackles the problem of sexual deprivation among the Egyptian youth. It also tackles the double-standards attitude among the community.
